Quality and Value Since 1950

Price Stores has been locally-owned and operated for nearly 75 years. Our mission has always been to provide quality men’s formal wear at an excellent value.

Our goal is to build relationships. At Price Stores, people aren’t customers, they’re friends.

Since 1950, we’ve been dressing Daytonians — and a future president — for special occasions. Back in 1959, John F. Kennedy was running for the Democratic Party nomination and was scheduled to speak at the Dayton Bar Association. The young senator didn’t realize the event was black-tie. Price Stores came to the rescue by sending a tailor to take his measurements and dress him for the evening. A few days later, an employee found $105 in one of the pockets of the returned tuxedo Kennedy returned. He sent a letter returning the money. Kennedy wrote back thanking us for our honesty and included a $25 reward.

This is just one of the many stories we’ve collected over the decades serving the Dayton area. We hope to continue making memories for the community with our new chapter in Centerville.

We welcome you to stop by and see what Price Stores can do for you!
